the trifecta
More juices. These are my three favorite Naked Juices. I've tried about 90% of all the different kinds of Naked Juices. There are more than you think. A good 20-30 flavors. Some are bland (mighty mango, tropical), some are in the middle. Then you have these 3 which stand at the top of all the ones I've tried. Single pic only this time.

Just looking at that pic makes me want to go get some more. Naked Juice can be expensive though. DO NOT buy them from Ralph's, Whole Foods, or other big name stores. They'll overcharge you like crazy. Ralphs has them for almost $4 for one! Whole foods has them for $3.50 or so. I get mine from the UCLA Engineering student store for... $2.40 tax included! Talk about a bargain.
In case the picture isn't clear, the three are Pomegranate-Blueberry, Blackberry-Blueberry, and Cherry-Pomegranate. That makes pomegranate and blueberry appear twice. These two fruits are top tier, and so are their juices.

a few exotic berry juices
Lately I've become somewhat of a juice connoisseur, especially berry juices. Did you know there are dozens of berries out there? We all know the common ones like strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries, etc. But there are some lesser known ones like elderberries, gooseberries, lingonberries, and even something called chokeberries. None of these outrageous ones are covered here, I just wanted to mention that such fruits exist. Here are my takes on a few of the rarer juices I've tried recently, with the usual pictures provided.
1. Goji Berry + Pomegranate

I'm a huge fan of pomegranate, ever since I was a kid. I had only heard about Goji berries until now. I didn't even know what they looked like. So when I saw a bottle of this stuff I had to give it a try. The bottle was nicely shaped and textured too. I took a sip and tasted the pomegranate as expected. The goji? Not so much. If anything it added just a bit of tartness to the juice. I don't know if pure goji juice would've had more taste, or whether the pomegranate was overpowering the goji. But in the end, the goji berry juice does little to enhance what is already an awesome juice in pomegranate.

2. Mulberry

Again, I had heard of mulberries but never tried them. They look an awful lot like blackberries, which are also great. It's a nice, thick juice. The taste was unexpected. Not in a bad way, however. It tasted like candy, really. The kind of sticky, hard candy that would rot your teeth. Kinda like jolly ranchers. It was alright, but not something I could drink a lot of. This was pure mulberry juice too, with nothing added. Surprising taste indeed. Doesn't taste like any other berry.
3. Black Currant juice

The first I heard about this juice was in Super Mario RPG, a long time ago. I always wondered what it was, and am glad I found out. This juice is wonderful. Light, tasty, sweet. It's something you can drink with a meal. It tastes like a cross between blueberry and blackberry juice. Very good stuff.

crunch time
for this quarter, my week 10 will be worse than finals week. I've gotten a few things out of the way, but I still have a CS project due thursday, CS hw due thursday, a lot of physics lab work due thursday, and a CS final the following saturday. That's my 10th week. My finals week? One final on thursday.
...then one more quarter to go!
